Twists
  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough 8 oz each, 16 rolls total
  • 6 Tbsp unsalted butter divided, melted
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
Vanilla Glaze
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2-3 Tbsp milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

  • Parchment paper
  • Pastry brush
  • Small mixing bowl

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll both cans crescent dough onto parchment. Press perforations to form 2 solid sheets.
  3. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in small bowl. Brush each dough sheet with 2 Tbsp melted butter. Sprinkle evenly with cinnamon-sugar.
  4. Cut each sheet into 8 long strips (16 total). Twist each strip 3-4 times. Place on baking sheet.
  5. Bake 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Brush immediately with remaining 2 Tbsp melted butter.
  6. Whisk powdered sugar, milk, vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over warm twists. Serve.

Notes

Press perforations well for solid sheets. Twist gently. Glaze while warm.
